Learn how to create the life you want for yourself
How do you show up? Do you know how to tap into your own energy to really “up your game” and create the life and business you want?
Each of us has a unique combination of seven levels of energy that shape how we view the world and how we live our lives. Our energy also determines our ability to lead people, including ourselves, to take positive, productive, and sustainable action and create the life we want.
Learning how to raise your energy levels can lead to greater levels of satisfaction in the areas of health and wellness, relationships, job satisfaction, personal development, achievement, and much more.
How do I find out how I "show up?"
The Energy Leadership™ Index (ELI) assessment is the proprietary, research-backed assessment tool that takes something abstract, like the way a person views the world, and turns it into something tangible — a metric that you can see and feel and eve re-evaluate in the future. It’s only available through an iPEC Certified Coach (that’s me!).
The ELI is an attitudinal assessment tool that captures how an individual currently perceives and approaches work and life.
With the awareness and insights gained through the debrief process, you have the opportunity to reshape your attitudes that impact your worldview. This, in turn, determines how you make decisions and react to stress. With this new information, you’ll have the power to rise to your true potential, whether that be in your relationships, work, health, and every aspect of your life.
One of the things I appreciate most about the ELI is that it doesn’t put you in a box; rather, it shows you how you’re currently operating and helps you identify areas for growth. When this assessment is given at the start of our coaching relationship, I can help guide you — if you choose — toward making the changes you want to make. The ELI can then be given as a follow-up tool to provide feedback on your progress.

What do you mean by "energy?"
Energy influences how we act because it forms the “lens” through which we perceive the world.
For example, if you go grocery shopping when you’re tired and hungry, you’ll probably fill your cart with different items than if you’d gone when after you’d rested and eaten. Those ready-to-eat items are going to look a lot more appealing!
I use seven different energy “levels” to describe the types of energy a person or group experiences and expresses. Here’s how someone experiencing each level of energy might react in a situation where their partner gets home from work, acts angry and grumpy, and wants to cancel your plans to go out with friends that evening:
Level 1: Lack of choice. Victim energy. I can’t. I have to. Fearful.
“I’m so upset. I never get to do what I want to do.”
Level 2: Anger. Combativeness. Resisting or fighting energy.
“If he thinks can tell me what to do, he’s got another thing coming. I’m so MAD!”
Level 3: Rationalizing. Fine.
“It’s okay. Sometimes people have bad days. I guess we can reschedule.”
Level 4: Care. Compassion. Service to others.
“My poor partner…they’ve had such a hard time lately. We’ll stay home and I’ll give them a massage.”
Level 5: Reconciliation. Win-win. There’s no good or bad or right or wrong.
“Where’s the opportunity here? How can we both get what we really want?”
Level 6: Intuition. Creative genius. The space of brilliant visionaries.
“We’re all connected and every experience we have is joyful.”
Level 7: Complete passion for all aspects of life. Oneness.
“I feel complete passion and joy in this, and all situations.”
While you might notice that level 1 and 2 probably won’t bring about the greatest results, there’s no “good” or “bad” energy per se. Each type of energy has inherent advantages and disadvantages and can be consciously used to reach specific goals. It’s also normal for us to move up and down the spectrum…we rarely hang out at one level all the time.
